My first taste of styling

So, last year (2010) we had a project to create an editorial for the magazine of our choice, I chose Italian Vogue (obviously this is only hyperphetically, and this is in no way associated with Italian Vogue).

I had a wonderful Hairdresser, Esme Harris and photographer Millie Burgess. The concept and styling were done by myself, and Lauren Matherick, Tally Pusey and Felicity Criddle modelled. It was shot in a reservoir in Somerset, England.

The weather was of course awful, but everyone was absolutely amazing and put up with the rain!

Here is my final outcome, I was given two words: Alternative Jungle and had to base it on that. I developed this idea and looked at surrealism, and played on the traditional English Tea Party. I wanted to create dark elements, almost with a sense of 'Miss Havisham' from Great Expectations by Charles Dickens, about them; very nostalgic.  please comment <3 ...
